The Winery

Cantina Valpantena was founded in 1958 through the initiative of a number of local winemakers. The project solidified in just a short time, becoming a cooperative that has attracted nearly all the production in the area. Today, we are well established and able to compete in domestic and foreign markets, allowing the community to preserve a centuries-old tradition and care for the environment.

In addition to the 250 farms in Verona, 110 olive oil companies were added in 2003 through a merger with Oleificio delle Colline Veronesi, giving rise to an important and solid olive oil and wine centre near Verona, for a total of 200 hectares of olive groves.

Our work in recent years has focused on increasing the quality of each and every aspect of the production chain, taking full advantage of all the varieties of grapes and olives grown by members.

Winemaking tradition, quality production, and innovation, combined with a love of the territory and enhancement of typical products make our wines unique. Our quality management system has been certified according to the international ISO 9001 standard. We are also certified according to the Ecosustainability standard.

Cantina Valpantena also encompasses the wines in the Torre del Falasco line. The brand is named after the brigand Falasco, who raged through the valley in the 1600s, hiding out in a small tower in the hamlet of Stallavena. He soon became legend. Torre del Falasco wines are supported by constant, careful, and meticulous work in the vineyard and a selection of grapes right from the field, bringing these highly prized wines to life.
